If you haven't read Hunger Games, you should do so RIGHT NOW. It is going to be The Next Big Thing in YA Lit and they are already working on the movie. It has suspense, action, subplots that mesh perfectly with the main story, and just the right amount of romance to keep things from getting too dark.
